STORY
For over 50 years of experiences, our specialized and innovative skills create flavourful and aromatic Japanese products which have become favourites for local and foreign customers.
The company was established in 1970 at Sukhumvit 62 Road in the name of “Tsubaki Food Service Itd., part”.
We began operating as a wholesaler and retail shop by selling raw materials imported from Japan.
At present, we are renowned for producing the finest quality of traditional seasoning and other product line including frozen food, surimi, noodles, miso and natto.
We blend local and imported ingredients to create the finest seasoning
at reasonable price for our customers.
TSUBAKI Group History & Milestones
1940’s
The founder (Mr. Tsubaki Kenshi) stationed in Myanmar (Burma) prior to World War II.
When Japanese armed force moved to Southeast Asia, Mr. Kenshi joined the army as a food purchasing staff.
Post-World War II (1945)
After the war, Mr. Kenshi moved to Thailand.
1950’s
He married to a half Japanese-Chinese woman.
1955
Started a business by renting a small store adjacent to the bread factory.
Soy products such as miso, soy sauce and tofu were manufactured.
1960’s - 1980’s
Hired two employees to sell Japanese food at Sukhumvit 21 Road (Asoke).
1970
Moved the manufacturing business to Sukhumvit 62 Road.
Started Japanese soba shop. 9 years later it was destroyed by fire.
1988
Tsubaki Food Service ltd., part. (Sukhumvit 62 Road) was established.
2000’s - 2020’s
Expanded sales and marketing department.
2016
Established a factory at Rojana industrial estate in Ayutthaya. Manufacturing soup extract, seasoning, hanakatsuo and other products.
2021
Established a factory at TIP 7 industrial estate in Samut Prakan.
Manufactoring natto, umeboshi, abura-age, inari, udon, mochi and other products.
